Curated Favorites

Welcome to my creative corner! Here, I take pleasure in sharing my favorites from the diverse world of design. Whether it's the latest brands in interior design, classics in fashion, or anything that inspires me, this space is a curated collection of all things that catch my eye and ignite my creative spirit. Here inspiration knows no bounds, and creativity knows no limits.

Barn owl by Iittala

The Birds by Oiva Tikka is my favorite collection from Iittala! This Barn Owl by Iittala is meticulously crafted using traditional glassmaking techniques at Iittala's glass factory in Finland. Each piece is a unique masterpiece, with the distinctive deep brown hue achieved through traditional art glass methods. The feather pattern is the result of collaborative efforts using ribbon techniques by skilled glassblowers.

Professor Oiva Toikka (1931-2019) pioneer in glass art left an indelible mark on Finnish glass art, deviating from conventional design trends.

Croissant lounge chair by Gubi

Seeking a touch of playfulness and uniqueness for your space? Look no further than GUBI's Croissant lounge chair, a design masterpiece by Danish architect Ilum Wikkelsø. Originally crafted in 1962, this chair injects a dose of humor and playfulness into the realm of traditional furniture design, making it an ideal choice for those who crave both comfort and aesthetics.

My favorite feature is that this chair represents the charm of mid-century design with a playful twist. it is not just furniture it is the whole experience!

Twill S Curve Jacket by Helsa

This jacket offers structure and lines. I love the sculptural and architectural approach in this jacket and the Light Khaki color goes with everything! This jacket gives 80s vibes and highlights the waistline so beautifully. I love every single piece Elsa Hosk makes! This studio offers a capsule wardrobe with more unique perspective!

Swedish Supermodel and businesswoman Elsa Hosk has created a clothing line that represents the ultimate capsule wardrobe. This line has taken inspiration from all scales of Scandinavia; nature, architecture, minimalism, and craftsmanship. She is the ultimate it girl and I am not the only one who loves her chic style!

Lanah Clog by Ugg

Ah, the classic Ugg dilemma – choosing between the popular Tasman ones and not so popular Lanah clogs. The Tasman Ugg boots, with their snug warmth and iconic design, have been on my for you page constantly. Still, I am not sure if these are the shoes for me, because I have heard they are not as comfy as other shoes from Ugg. Then I found these Lanah clogs from Ugg and fell in love instantly! I thought I would buy these for myself as a birthday present but now they are sold out everywhere:D

The Lanah Clogs look more comfy and can be worn in different ways. Also, they are not as popular as the Tasman or Tazz ones, but these would be harder to wear in Finnish fall/winter/spring, so the Tasman ones maybe could work better in these conditions?

Loewe Puffer Vest

Loewe's nylon puffer vest is well-structured coupled with details, and is such a fashion fashion statement. The Sienna Brown color gives teddy bear vibes which adds warmth and charm. While the silhouette of this puffer vest leans towards the boxy side, these artful cuts ensure it maintains a light and easy-going piece. It's a perfect fusion of structure and comfort, that makes it versatile for various occasions.

Founded in 1846, Loewe has carved a niche for itself with a rich legacy of craftsmanship and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern design. The Spanish brand has become synonymous with modern expression, consistently delivering pieces that redefine contemporary fashion. This nylon puffer vest is a true testament to the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and innovative design.
